IntroductionThe recommendations on these pages may be for slash, het, or gen (meaning they contain m/m, f/f, m/f, or no romance, and sometimes odd genderbending hetslashish stuff), and may contain adult content in the form of language, violence, or sexuality. Ratings range from G to NC-17 and are usually rated on the author or archive page. Please use your discretion in choosing what to read. Most of my recs are in rare to non-existent fandoms, although I do read a few of the larger fandoms (Buffy, Highlander, Star Trek: Voyager, Smallville, X-Men, Star Wars, and Lord of the Rings, for example). But there are many recs pages for these fandoms and few devoted specifically to small fandoms, thus my focus. Recs are mainly for me, as a way of keeping track of stories I particularly liked. They're drawn from what I've read (obviously not everything) and are naturally chosen according to my personal taste. What you find here may not appeal to you, and I can make no guarantees about subjective quality. I don't recommend fic that's not spell-checked and that doesn't exhibit good grammar, and the characterization has to ring true to me. I do have plans to organize this in a more user-friendly manner, and to flesh out some of the more cursory recs at a later date.
