Life began with a frisky, yet so sick, black puppy from the dog pound, no
pedigree for him !!, that no one wanted.  This black bundle of fur so full
of love and devotion.  He followed me everywhere, and rebelled terribly when
separated from me.

As the many years passed, he was always by my side through good times and
always sensed the bad times......coming to stay by my side to comfort as
only he could do.  He traveled everywhere with me, swam in the Gulf of
Mexico, and later seemed to be revitalized when able to go in the
*Gooie-Mobile* to the beach & smell the salt air.

This AMAZING love of my life fought to overcome many  obstacles to remain by
my side.......the ever loving, devoted companion.....loyal beyond belief.
Such a truly special gift from God that will always remain in my heart.
There will never be another like him.

He now plays & runs free of old age & pain in Heaven.  I could no longer ask
that he give more, so today at 11:20am (with a loud clap of thunder) I gave
back the love he has given to me so freely all these years, and released him
in to God's keeping.

God speed, my precious Mr. Magoo, until we meet again.  Never forget how
much your mommy & daddy loved you.  Though the sunshine has gone from my
life, tonight there will be a brighter star in the Heavens above.

Tribute to Mr. Magoo

We waited for a sign
It finally came
Without our wonderful Mr. Magoo
This place will not be the same.
 

Your mom held you in her arms as your sleep slowly came
She Kissed your head to let you know it is ok, its time to go
She held you as you left the bonds of earth
And took your step across the bridge to be with GOD
 

Our wonderful small hero, Our wonderful small fellow
He has a heart big enough for the world
But we can thank our lucky stars he wanted us
Now it is our turn to let you pass, to let you go home
 

There will be no more pain to bare
No more wintry air
No more hot summer days
Only gods pleasant ways
 

You can again run and play
No more old age to hold you back
Green grass under your feet
And blue skies over your head

We will again be together some day
There will be balls, birds and squirrels to chase
You can even lick Dads face
You can play with Buster and Socks

Jeanny's mom will pet your locks
You can run up the stairs
They can keep you company till we get there
We will dearly miss you quizzical gaze

We will miss you mystical, whimsical ways
Mom will miss you licking her feet
And I will miss you hogging my sheet
Now you can eat what you want

No more meds to take
More diggs up the???
No more shots from the Vet
No more baths to get you wet.
 

There will be all the beaches you can stand
All that water to run through
All that sea air to sniff
And you won't have to worry about the sand

We love you Magoo
We will miss you Magoo
You have been our hearts for so long
And it's been hard to let you go

But it's your turn to be young again
We left you at the Rainbow Bridge
So you could take your final walk home
